I’m a millennial, of course I like to be able to find what I want online without it taking forever and a day. I’m Taphanie, but you can call me Shari. I prefer to be called by my middle name, hence the name of this blog, The Shari Lifestyle.
I started this blog with the intention of rekindling my passion for art, music, fashion and home decor. You may wonder, why art, music, fashion and home decor? WHAT AN ODD MIX! In my younger years, before I became a busy mom, I loved fashion, drawing, singing, writing songs and just making music overall, but somewhere along the road of motherhood the spark went cold. From not having the time, the space, the money, or enough silence to do what I wanted to do, I slowly disengaged from the things I loved. Although motherhood drew me away from my initial passions, I’ve found new ones along the way. I’ve developed an eye and a taste for home making and home decor over the years, so I’ve added it to the list of things that I now love to do.
My vision for this blog is not only for it be a space where I document my journey, rekindle my passions and hone my talents, but a creative space, where people with shared passions can engage and be inspired by each other.
